Time Off
I have decided to take some time off creating any new music with Morphine Machine. I have put the musical creation side on the back burner for now. I have done this so I can focus on other projects and other things dealing with Morphine Machine. I will be doing other things in the visual department pertaining to Morphine Machine but anything musical do not expect new material to be released anytime soon. I want to thank all the fans for your support and kind words. Without you guys I wouldn't be doing this. Much love

Voices In The Void

32 minutes 57 seconds
1. Morphine Machine & Robin - They Came From The Sky (9:28)
2. Morphine Machine & Robin - Voices In The Void (23:29)

Voices In The Void is complete and available for download.

Here is a review from a fan Daniel. He was given the opportunity to listen to the album before it became available to the public for download and listening.

Voices In The Void is an album that speaks about humanity and extraterrestrial life. It speaks to the notion that we as higher intelligent beings are not alone in this universe. It brings forth the idea that we as humans are not the only race in this vast universe. Through the guitar work of Robin and the electronic work of Morphine Machine you are immersed into a very dark musical atmosphere. It is an album that is filled with atypical guitars, low hums, and other worldly sounds. It is a powerful yet subtle statement that is slipped into your ear and implanted into your mind. This is the definitive concept/drone album. Open up your mind, ears, and thoughts as you will be immersed into something beautiful, haunting, hypnotic, dark, alien in nature, and overall mind numbing. So sit back take the ride and enjoy the sounds of this wonderful recording

Voices In The Void
Voices In The Void has officially been completed. The newest song which was given the demo name of "Drone" is done. It features guitar work by my friend Robin. The genres it encompasses are Drone and Ambient. Its a very relaxing yet surreal track. It is 23:29 long. Just clocking under 24 minutes. It is an amazing tune that I truly love. I must give thanks to Robin for his guitar work.
Update: I have finished preliminary work on another Drone piece. I have handed it off to Robin to do the guitar portion. When that is finished I will be releasing both tracks as an EP/Album tentatively titled "drone". This will change but for now it is simply called "drone". The album cover art is in the final stages. Once Robin & I come up with an album title I will show off the album cover art here.

Drone Piece
Hello everyone a new piece of material is being worked on. Its a 23 minute Drone piece. I have been pondering ideas as I flesh out the song. I decided it'd be great add guitar layers to it. I have enlisted the help of a good friend of mine Robin who is an excellent guitar player to help with the guitar parts. I figured a fresh face and a fresh perspective might give this song a different feel to it.

Right now the drone piece is halfway complete. I have laid down the foundation for the song and what not.

For all of you who do not know what Drone music is. Drone music is a minimalistic genre which emphasizes the use of long tones that vary slightly in the way they are heard. As well repeated sounds and clusters. I decided to stray slightly from this and make it almost Drone Metal. Drone Metal is a fairly new genre.

I did say before that I'd take a break from recording but after hearing some Drone material a friend sent me I was transfixed by it and ended up spending one night toying with some tones and sounds. Ended up deciding to try a drone piece which then morphed from pure Drone to Drone Metal.

More information about this song will be posted when I continue work on it
